Dystonia and How Upper Cervical Care is Different

Muscle spasms are one of the most common symptoms of a misalignment between the head and the neck.

Sometimes the spasms are felt in the head and neck, sometimes lower in the spine, and in the case of the patient in this video, the spasms were so severe throughout the entire body that the patient was medically diagnosed with dystonia. Not only were the spasms physically uncomfortable, but they also limited her ability to drive safely, as she wasn’t even able to turn her head.

In this video, the patient describes how upper cervical care decreased her symptoms and greatly improved her quality of life; she also describes an important aspect of upper cervical care, specifically how gentle it can be compared to other forms of chiropractic care.
